Which companies have the best internal career development programs? Can be technical or non-technical. For instance, I've heard LinkedIn and Adobe both have developer "apprenticeships" for non-traditionally trained engineers to get up to speed. Lyft has a Udemy account with a bunch of free courses, some opportunities like Toastmasters depending on your role or ERG, and if you have a good manager you can get opportunities to go to conferences etc, but as far as I know, nothing really structured company or organization-wide for formal career growth.
Internally promotions, lateral mobility across multiple teams and domain areas. Training for folks who want to go from PM to Dev or vice versa. Also, technology rotations so developers get a chance to touch every part of the stack.

Workday without question. We aim to keep folks for the duration of their career and provide growth opportunities accordingly. We always look internally before externally.
What do you mean by "growth opportunities"? Just promos? Cause I think that's most companies in that they look inside before out. What else does workday do to make it the best "without question"?
I agree with Google. Sounds like management propaganda.
