If you're in software AWS, if in physics / electronics / hardware ASML
For software engineering ASML is a very boring, slow moving place (and low pay)
Choose AWS ASML = unchi dookan, fika Pakwan
I would choose ASML, you can choose AWS when you’re ready to take a plunge and fuck your WLB for the sake of making 🍌 the rest of your life. Also AWS is not innovative anymore, that stopped 10 years ago is now full of bloatware, and teams eating each other, with competing products. Look you’re going to make a grave mistake joining AWS, I implore you to take the W and go to ASML. They say oh, you’re going to learn to create products that scale globally. Lol no, you’re going to learn to follow a template.
What makes you think other big companies are any different? Not defending Amazon, but I was at MSFT and another mid-size company before this and it’s the same shit work-wise everywhere - actually, my current team here has done a lot of greenfield work, so it’s very team dependent
Software definitely AWS ASML is really old school and boring also no return offer for now
Since This is an internship… AWS by a mile. It’ll set you up well to land interviews at better companies full time. ASML does not have that resume impact.
AWS anyday !!!! ASML work is boring !!!
