Internship opp on West Coast for a Canadian Comp Sci Junior

##swe #internship #faang My son is a 3rd year Comp Sci student at Queens Uni, Ontario, Canada. Heavily leetcoding (strong in Python and can manage C++, Java). Has been on Hyperloop design team, worked for a Waterloo startup and a Bank for his previous internships. Very keen to get 2021 summer / fall internship on the west coast. Been trying to reach out through my limited network but finding that’s not very effective. Any advise for him on how best to approach internship opportunities (Do’s, Dont’s, hacks) in FAANG, Microsoft, Uber, Tesla, doordash, Snap etc? Think the time to strike is now.
