Interview at Oath
I have an SDE interview coming up at Oath with the mail team. I’m probably interviewing for IC3 level, IC4 might be a stretch for 5.5 years of experience. What level of questions are to be expected leetcode medium/hard? What level of system design skills are expected?
It’s going to vary greatly depending on the team you interview with. What product?
There is a good chance you will be asked system design at that IC level.
There are people who are level 4 and 5 with your years of experience. Don't forget that Yahoo today is not top tier.

5 yoe and masters is maybe ic4. Without masters it’s more ic3.

wow ic3. How does that compared to google or Facebook e4? Should be e4 with that yoe at google or Facebook
With masters prob ic4, hiring manager will make the decision based on interview perf. Mail team is strict in their hiring, and hiring committee will want evidence to justify level.
Oath has interviews? I thought it was walk-in! After all who in their sane mind would want to join this shit hole.
