I recently interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (SIG) for an SDE role. Interview went well, was able to code the solution, explain thought process, why I chose a particular DS, time complexity. In the design round, I was able to come up with a design which was extensible, followed SOLID principles guidelines. Spoke with 2 managers after that for an hour. Spoke with the recruiter after all the rounds, discussed expectations and other details like relocation, sign on, other pending offers/interviews. After the interview the recruiter scheduled a phone call for follow up. Interviewed on Friday and follow up scheduled for Monday. What does it mean?
It will be rejection. I asked them to block you. No one can escape from mothership Oracle
Most likely offer. I interviewed recently, they rejected me immediately after the interview, in the same zoom meeting that I was interviewing in. Hope the the follow up means offer for you
Thank you for sharing. Do you mind if I DM you?
Sure
May I please DM you? I would like some insights on the interview. But based on my friends’ experiences, that most likely means an offer. I will say I do know of a DE Shaw interview candidate who went through all of that and still got rejected. Then again, he was interviewing for a PM role
Sure Dm Me
Normally follow ups mean offer. I hope for you!
Yes, I have the same expectation. The fact that the recruiter scheduled the call an hour later after our conversation was a little surprising
