Folks who come up with LC type interview questions, what is the thought process behind it? Is work ex a factor when evaluating candidate for LC kind algorithmic interview problems? Do you see a correlation of fresh graduates performing better in these kind of interviews? P.S: Creating in compensation section as this has more views and interview performance is directly proportional to compensation :)
Fresh grads do better at algo questions. Experienced do better at system design. The thought process is simple - what signal does this question provide?
