Hi Disney peeps, I have an interview with Disney+. What's the culture like, especially in EMEA/UK? Many thanks!
After layoffs everyone is still picking up the pieces.
Run the other way
I have several friends who used to work at Disney on streaming and after putting up with constant nonsense from leadership for years they eventually all ran away as fast as they could
Disney culture is 💩 these days.
DMED/Disney+ culture is so messed up and I am not saying this lightly. I have ample work experience and working at DMED was the worst and miserable phase of my life.
the only scenario where I would get into DMED/Disney+ is when I am unemployed and have no income and some income with abject misery is still better than no income at all.
Disney/ EMEA? What function? Culture varies based on org. Either way, its an awful place.
i like it here
What org/role?
What does the interview look like for Senior Software Engineer role?
Varies by team. I was just asked basic coding questions you would see on the actual job, some brain teaser logic questions, and some behavioral questions across three 30 min sessions
Thank you for replying! May I know how many rounds in total? Also how did the coding questions look like? Were there any domain specific questions? Thanks in advance!
