This is purely out of curiosity. We don't do anything top secret at Starbucks, or at least I wouldn't tell you about it. What is interviewing for a new job like when your experience is working on projects that are classified? Interviewers usually want specific examples of ways you've made an impact, but it seems like it's be difficult to go into much depth. Is there some flexibility when the new role also requires clearance and the interviewers already have TS/SCI? Otherwise do you just have to be vague and hope for the best?
Everyone knows about the secret midnight police coffee, you don't need to hide it
Talk in general. For that truly, ultra top secret stuff with the feds, they actually go as far as giving you a cover story & cover position, making it a non-issue.
Lol
There's zero shit they care about that is actually classified.....
Projects usually contain a mix of classified and unclassified info. I could talk about some algorithm I implemented to hit certain performance metrics for a system, but not talk about what the system was built for in a lot of cases.
Not cleared but know a bunch of folks who are. It’s possible to talk about projects without disclosing TS info. “I built a throughout optimization tool for image data used by the intelligence community” is usually fine. Only difference is some specific trade offs might not be public, so you can’t discuss those.
