If your team does daily standups, your manager is a micromanager
Hi Friends, I have 9 years experience in software development. I am preparing for Facebook interview. Can someone help me which level I would be considered? E3 or E4?
If you told them you have 9 years of exp, they are most likely interviewing you for E4/E5 range with E4 as default, but you can always ask. If you are shooting for T6, definitely ask beforehand because the interviewer composition would be different.
Thanks .
I’m interviewing at Facebook next week and they haven’t mentioned level to me either. I have 17 years of experience. Also they haven’t asked me about current compensation at all.
When you get an offer with bonus percentage you will know your level. E5 = 15%
They don't ask about current compensation before interviewing afaik.
We're not your friends, buddy.
He's not your buddy, guy.
He’s not your guy, pal.
If you have 9 years and get E3, I feel bad for you. Even E4. Id think E5, E6 if you're talented.
How should I know what I am interviewing for? The recruiter did not mention any levels. Does it depend on interview performance?
You could try asking. Usually it's based on interview performance but I believe you're also usually considered for a range. It probably depends on what you told them you get paid now, your title, etc. I'm not an expert though.
