Which is better? In terms of wlb, compensation and future stability for next 4 years. Update: To clarify - I might get promote to L6 in this or next quarter. Is it worth it to move to Intuit at Senior Software level or should I wait for my promo? TC: 270 L5 Amazon
Why would you got at Senior level at Intuit?
What does “better” mean in your view?
Updated the desc.
I don't think there is any comparison here, Amazon senior should be at least staff level of intuit. Money wise it might be a different story.
As per levels.fyi amazon lower L6 band fall under Intuit Senior Software Engineer bucket.
Amazon senior has way more scope
Amazon L6 all the way, if you want growth, money and scope. Wlb - maybe Intuit
What project would you be working on? Intuit is still hybrid if this is a factor for you (2 days in the office). Also I think Intuit has great growth potential since they dominate the accounting industry
Amazon L6. While technically one is not better than the other at coding/actual job. Amazon L6s are respected and were able to pass some moderately hard interviews and I would imagine they pay better Intuit’s SSE But WLB go for Intuit. Stability would say the same at both. It’s either or at best.
Amazon
Lol Amazon engineer says Intuit, but Intuit engineer says Amazon.
