They are competitors. I guess Intuit finally pulled the plug and decided to buy them after CK started doing free tax filing last year. Oh. Which means Intuit is probably gonna strip that feature or start charging users for it. Also, Intuit spends millions of dollars lobbying the US govt NOT to make tax filing free. Intuit is just a sweet little butterfly, ain’t it
TT has free filing, they just don't advertise that well. They were in the spotlight for doing that intentionally, since ck they have started advertising it.
