I have all of my savings in a Bank of America savings account. I’ve been lazy about investing and am risk averse. I want to capitalize on the downturn and move some of it into an index fund. Should I do it now or are things going to get worse? Thanks! #investments #assets #stock
You want to time the market, what a smart idea...
I know nothing about finances. It’s embarrassing, I know
When things are going so bad in the market, you’ll be able to time it anyhow. Just don’t be super late and greedy
Start dollar-cost averaging in your savings into the market in chunks, smaller chunks if you think the downturn will be prolonged.
This. Don't try to time the market.
+1
Start putting chunks in. Dollar cost averaging wins every time!
The response of the vote tells me that no one knows what the hell's going on
Welcome to 2020
Wait for a solid stimulus package from the government and wait for the panic of the core virus to substide to start buying
The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now. If you have a 20-30 year buy-and-hold horizon, it doesn't much matter when you buy. So if you have the money to buy now, buy now.
Ppl telling you buy need your money to prevent market from further drops, they are protecting themselves, not making you a favor
Hahahahaha how’s the tc at western digital?
It’s oka mtrfka
devide your money into 100 buckets. Right now you can put 5 in index funds. Every 1% drop, put in another 2 buckets.
Don't buy .. wait another month
Buy buy buy fucking buy
