I have around 750k in cash. Is there a well reputed investment agency that people know of. Also instead of stocks, should i go for buying a second home. Looking for sound financial advice. Btw do people think waiting till 2018 would be better.

If you are interested to invest in some startup I would advise you to go for the starter well just like 500 startups, startup grid, YC combinator etc. And another option is if you are invest in Indian startup I could help you with that. 2nd home in a high demand rental area. I'd look at San Jose near apples new hq. values have risen a bit, but rents may continue to rise as demand for housing increases.
This makes sense. I saw some new townhomes coming in milpitas and campbell area. Are you aware of some newer construction near apple.
I'm more into single family with upside in remodeling or mansionization potential. Saw a lot of single family homes that were turn key rentals.

Find a startup that looks promising for future acquisition and provide them some Seed funing for percentage of company. It's risky but could payoff huge. More traditionally buy house in up and coming area and rent it for several years.
