Google G00gol Jun 14, 2021

Google is the best. They match 50% of your contribution up to the federal limit. I just dump part of my end of year bonus to max out in January (19.5K), and then Google immediately puts another 9.75K

Microsoft anon2202 Jun 14, 2021

Same with Microsoft

Cisco FePs57 Jun 14, 2021

Wow!!!

State Street Corporation yolo101 Jun 14, 2021

State Street has 100% match upto 6%

Microsoft hehehaha😩 Jun 14, 2021

Microsoft also matches 50% up to the federal limit

Amazon zopH65 Jun 16, 2021

So if I contribute 19500, will MS contribute 9750? Or do they contribute 50% for after tax (Mega backdoor ROTH) as well?

Microsoft hehehaha😩 Jun 16, 2021

9750. The IRS won't legally allow them to match contributions to After-tax contributions (I mean After-tax aka megabackdoor. They will match Roth)

Deloitte Deloitte_M Jun 14, 2021

Deloitte Consulting match 25% up to 6% of your salary

Rubrik itsawfr Jun 14, 2021

You missed an option for no match, which is the case with Rubrik

Intel 😼Atomic💩 Jun 14, 2021

Intel matches 100% up to 5% of your salary including bonuses for which you can set a different contribution percentage which is nice. True ups are done as well - like if you had less than 5% for some then had other paychecks with more, you’ll get a one off contribution.

Indeed banappl Jun 14, 2021

Indeed does 50% up to 6% so basically 3%. Caveat is that this applies to bonuses too (10-14% generally) and comp is cash heavy for many, my comp is probably ~80% cash. As opposed to Amazon which has the salary cap, rsu heavy, and has a 2% base salary 401k match, probably effectively one of the worse plans of well known companies.

Logitech zzyyxx0 Jun 14, 2021

This is very good but vesting schedule also matters. Do you keep it if you leave / they go out of business in 2 years? An average company matches 50% of pay up to 6%. I’ve had 3 companies that did that including Logitech (only Logitech vested immediately, others in 2-3 years) and one company (media) that matched 100% up to 6% (also vested immediately).

Amazon zeps6e Jun 14, 2021

Amazon matches 50% of 4% base. Lol
