Getting a $170k base offer from fintech in NYC. Tech lead with 15yrs experience. Is it good?

170k base + 12% bonus + match stock that I will lose from current employer (65k). No new stock for next year.

If that's salary, yes that's good so long as it is accompanied by a Fintech grade bonus. You will likely be working your butt off and it'll likely show in your bonus.

Salaries are not way lesser than fang unless in software engineering where it's just about equal. As a quant, you're almost promised a significantly higher tc than anywhere else in the world.
