TC inflation is real. L5 equivalent roles were paying 400k before. I see tons of L5 offers around 500k now. TC 530 YoE 6
New 200
New 100
Is stripe paying that much or is it paper money as of now
At what price they are alloting stocks these days
It’s an annual grant. So, TC remains the same and number of shares is determined every year based on then stock price.
For senior roles, yes. 350k used to be great in 2017. Now 500k is the new normal
500k is the top of the band for new L5 offers. Not “normal” in any sense.
Google is not competitive anymore
Our annual comp cycle is due this week. Watch me get less than 5% and end up with less TC adjusted for inflation 🤦♀️. At least stock is going up, unless Omicron bucks that trend.
At least your stock has a chance to go up. Ours is 💩
We are partners in stock going nowhere 💩💩
All I know is that 100k is the new 60k
40k
True :(
Funny, most companies give a 3% annual raise and still claim they pay top of the market 💭
Top of the market is only for new hires.
Darn, I only got 440k as L5.
Where at? LinkedIn?
Yes genius
Jfc I just signed on with Bolt for like 300k, having some regrets rn
But Bolt is private right?
What level
If inflation is 1% a month like they’re saying, then $400k is $450k in a year

Everything seems great with this guy, except basic attraction. What to do? My friends say it’s no big deal
Which companies are paying 400 k for l5 ?
Meta. Just accepted 400k + 100k sign on
Facebook E5 offers are typically 400k (excluding sign on) Also, generally any tier 1.5-tier 2 company comes close to 400k for L5 equivalent roles.
