Our boomer CEO is not interested in SaaS and believes customers should collect software CDs and install them on premises. Word on the street is that Broadcom might sell vmc on aws to amazon? Anyone from Amazon got any insights?
Hock doesn't give a crap about installing things on premise , he wants portability for VCF across all the clouds. VMC is a unique case where it was the first of a kind and VMware ran everything - GCVE and AVS work differently. Wouldn't it make sense to bring VMC inline with that?
Ask Hock in the next coffee chat
Hock cares about profitability. Bottom line. He will okay the purchase of any company or technology that makes money, can and will make more money, and can be sustained. It would be contra-purpose for Hock to approve any change that would depreciate the value of a leading product or income stream. VMC will be be a leading focus for some time, because it's valuable.
We have been asked to stop all the support for vmc... so it is clear it will be sold
Does anyone know about the timelines ? What is Brcm ‘s severance policy ?
Your boomer CEO is kicking ass on stock price Make money or fk off VCenter can no longer save your ass
Calm down cisco.
