After meta second round of layoff, the next question is, do we have another round of layoff for amazon? TC: 315k I would appreciate if you mention your reasoning as well.
Around me many laid off found internal positions within Amazon, especially those who have been here longer. To me that indicates Amazon will lean towards not making another round, unless of course economic outlook worsens significantly. I think they mostly wanted to get rid of the expensive new outer layer.
If you don’t comply with RTO = 👋
Some team still have not received any email regarding RTO, so what is the deal with that.
you received your email in inside amazon. No-one is going to personally tell you to show up at work, you know that you need to be at your designated office starting May1.
I am not talking about pip or focus, I am talking about actual mass layoff.
Unless fed pivots, forward looking projections no bueno on revenue. Something something cash flow muy importante
Everyone is doing more layoff
Amazon doesn't work on "MetaVerse".
Again these dumb questions, bro, no one knows, just do your thing
I think if people are not visa dependent many people who are not in favour of RTO will take risk to resign and search for other jobs.
I know from my friend who is a tenured L7 at amazon. AmZons pip percentage is 20-25% thus year . Expect blood bath starting next week when you are given NI ratings out of no where
Is PIP already not completed at Amazon?
Amazon pip and seattle rain are same. They keep on for entire year
Wait until after May 1. Their RTO policies are so worker-hostile it’s blatantly obvious they are doing layoffs by attrition
How many people you think will leave on their own.
Lol, very few if any. Talk is cheap, reality is harsh. At the end of the day it is difficult to find a good job let alone one as good as Amazon (for Scientists).
