All I do at work is C# backend with angular on top of that when creating SPA (single page applications). It’s actually very comfy and I enjoy this work. Wonder if this is useful or I’m shooting myself in the foot because FAANG doesn’t seem to be so tied into M$ like some other companies. I know FAANG for the most part doesn’t care about the stack you previously worked with but still… Honestly just want job security at this point and always in fear of layoff. I think there are a lot of M$ shops that need this? TC: 140k YoE 7

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Faang does not care about C# as much, but it's not like they are all using one tech stack while you are doing something completely different. They are all using different things and hence they having C# on your resume is not going to be detrimental to you as na external candidate. In fact, any decent manager will recognize that C# is the same as Java/Kotlin/Scala and would value your experience quite as much. C# has the advantage of being used my many M$ shops, and if you keep the general anti-MSFT hatred aside, it's a pretty good language among its peers. I am not a front end engineer but there is a general agreement that React is a much better choice than Angular. Especially in Faang and all purely tech companies which heavily invest in their frontend . People who use angular generally do so because of legacy decisions or because of team knowledge. Which is okay as well, it's a perfectly good language which does its job well enough. If you want to pivot into purely frontend roles you might want to try and get into React. Otherwise you are fine. Either ways, I don't think there is much to panic about.
