You all are the sheep, so I’m really just looking for your consensus so I can bet against that. So far it’s not a buy.
The average length of a news cycle is about a week or two, as such the attention span of public market stock traders. Something new will come up two weeks from now and the media will move on to the new shiny story. FB will climb back up and all will be the same.
The issue with FB is that it can squashed quickly with regulation. There is no way this is the first incident and already the EU has a hardon for them. At least Google is diversified. FB has what the Oculus/VR and Facebook Work...the rest is social media services: WhatsApp Instagram etc.
Fb is going to be big like amzn. Thwy have such a wide reach. Google us banned in cgina where they use baidu instead
I would dump all FB shares tomorrow. This shit is gonna hit the roof. An absolute disaster with no controls checks and balances. IMO this is a huge trust buster and customer are gonna clamp down on sharing, which will restrict what data sponsors see, which will restrict the deep targeting value FB promotes.
Just bought FB May OTM calls thanks to you sheep.
