How to be content in life?
The company will be fine since instagram and whatsapp are very popular but to be honest Facebook is a shell of what it used to be. It might just be my news feed but it's literally just people tagging each other in memes or useless things. My little sister and her friends all also think Facebook is uncool and apparently snapchat and instagram are the big craze
Haha yeah I guess I'm just reminiscing of when I was in middle school and it was considered cool if you had a FB (if your parents let you make one)
It’s was like a new toy.. when it was new Everyone plays a lot with it.. now it’s just in shelf and no one has time to throw it as there are new toys
It’s ok. You can try again next year.
I think it’s just your circle. Everyone in mine still uses Facebook.
We all use Facebook messenger but Facebook itself seems to have gone to shit with a bunch of memes and tagging. Maybe it's just my circle tho ur right
There are a lot of really great aspects to fb, especially when you start looking at groups. There are groups for everything under the sun - they can be a really valuable resource.
I think the important thing to look for is whether Facebook can manipulate it's users info doing things in the app, like watching video or ordering food or bugging things or searching for jobs. I don't see that happening, but core use case remains stable, which is what metrics show.
Is it a shell? User counts are increasing and monetization is going higher and higher. Maybe your friends are just a shell of what they used to be or they prefer different content. 💁
You might be right, but perhaps what's more concerning is that newer generations don't want to create a FB I also want to point out that user counts increasing doesn't mean much, the rate of user growth is more important. People tend to not delete their FB so of course the count will be increasing
I think fb is becoming like windows. You kinda have to have it because everyone’s on it, but it’s not cool. Once in a while, get on to see what’s going on.
