Is Google relocation lump sum gross up?

I'm receiving Google relocation lump sum of around $10k. Would I be getting the full $10k (aka gross up), or would they deduct tax from it?

Usually you’ll get about 52%. Uncle Sam takes the rest. Ask Google if it’s pre or post tax.

You pay tax if you take the lump sum. Google pays taxes if you use the points.

It does get grossed up. I was told 18k, but my "gross" bonus on pay stub was 30k with 12k withheld for taxes.
