Just read No rules rules, the book about Netflix culture. Sounds like an awesome concept but wondering how true it is. How accurate is this depiction, in particular in regards to the constant feedback, the layoffs and the freedom?
Haven’t read the book, but Netflix culture is very close to the Netflix culture deck.
Which is?
… great.
In my experience, it’s very close. I loved the book and the culture here.
Very close to the culture memo. The anecdotes in the book are somewhat older though.
It is what the book and the culture deck says. Culture is everything in Netflix
It was true 5 years ago. The culture changed a lot since then. 90% of all current employees were hired in the last 4 years.
Hm, so good / bad change?
It's spotty depending on your manager/org. My experience has been great. But not everyone's has. My sense is that it's still mostly true overall.
Netflix culture changed a lot over the last few years. The deck is not relevant anymore, not sure about the book.
I read the book recently & was also wondering the same. Following
