It’s been a few weeks and haven’t heard back from my recruiter after reaching out to them multiple times so just wondering if there’s a reason for that @Nike
I’ve been told there is a freeze until June
What area was the role in?
It was a software engineer role based in Atlanta, and the hiring manager made it seem like it was super urgent as well
CDIO is out, so that might factor into it.
Only critical roles are being filled, which are few and far between. At least until the new fiscal year starts on June 1st.
Yes I've heard of a hiring freeze at least until June?
No official freeze. But also no open roles. Lmao the games we play
What about the roles that they already interviewed for?
Don’t get your hopes up. I know of managers that have had open headcount for the last 6 months that they haven’t been allowed to fill. Heck. I’ve seen a team get funding pulled after applicants received their laptops. 2023 is the year of the sledgehammer

No hiring freeze, maybe they are looking at multiple folks due to the huge talent pool available now ? Beaverton ?
