Is the work fun? Is the work culture supportive or cut throat? Asking about Design roles!
Heard they ship shit
Cuz you ship shit ?
Lol
It’s up to tc
I heard they share a design team with Craigslist
I heard reddits designers move to craigslist.
Work is fun and I've experienced nothing but support. But I'm on the eng side. All of the people on our design team are cool, so reaching out to one of them via linkedin should work out. :)
Are there any design roles for 4-5 yoe?
Seems like we have two: https://www.redditinc.com/careers
their SREs are expected to develop the product as well but you don't get paid for having a double role.
Where did you hear this?
Recruiter told me I'm expected to contribute Java code for the product... I think it was for ad platform
slack looks like more design work was done than reddit
Redditgw needs some updates @ swe
Is Reddit cash flow positive already?
Reddit peaked 10 years ago. The “new” design is disgusting and they are destroying the (perfectly fine) mobile website to push for a ad ridden buggy app. Fuck reddit.
Not much design there. They keep basic HTML looking format
Seriously^^
The last redesign is shit. I still use the old.reddit UI.
