Snap, Inc. is experiencing a major and possibly existential crisis after its disastrous Q2 earnings announced last week. The stock was down 39% on Friday alone, and down 79% year to date. It's at less than 1/3rd it's IPO price. One analyst said Snap is experiencing a "near-death experience". Snap is a disaster. Personally I would be surprised if Snap were even a company 1 year from now. Its only viable play right now seems to be an acquisition for pennies on the dollar, as it's stock is basically in free fall and rapidly heading toward zero with each passing day. The company is in full blown crisis mode and needs to immediately hire an external crisis management team to handle the unrelenting hurricane of negative PR and evaporating employee morale. Nobody can even believe what's happening at Snap.
And this is exactly why Zuck should buy it.
Dont think meta is looking to spend more money on projects going nowhere...
Idiots keep saying this, Meta can’t buy anything. It can’t even close on Giphy.
As long as there are dicks in this world, Snap isn’t finished.
Riley Reid knows.
Username checks out.
Lets worry about ourselves mate
Meta prints cash. Snap burns it.
For now
No one uses snap any more. If your over 25 and using snap on the reg you’ve got a problem
Gatekeeping for what purpose? Should we be on Reddit or Blind instead?
At least reddit and blind doesn’t force you into a 5 second commercial every 15 seconds. I can’t stand watching any of the video content since I’m always interrupted by useless ads. Take a page out of YouTube ad structure
The stock is not the same as the company lol… the company itself will still be fine. They’ll fire 50% of eng worst case. They’ll be profitable then.
Stock is where it was in 2019 for what it’s worth. It was honestly just way over valued. It’s a 10 billion dollar company max. Not 70 billion.

What is this ill-informed negativity? We have $5B in the bank, how are we not going to exist a year from now when we bring in $1B in revenue every quarter? We working towards being debt-free, and getting better at monetization for our continually growing DAU (which was 347M as of Q2). The company is not in full-blown crisis mode lol
Man snap its just getting sad. Yall on Blind come off as soaked in hopium, every time. I recommend jumping ship before youre unemployed
I don’t even work on the app-side, there’s no need for hopium when you have good WLB, good benefits, and a great team. All equity based compensation has its ups and downs. It’s a bummer it’s happening to a large group of us right now, but we weathered the storm in 2017-2019, and we are way better positioned to do it again! Sorry you see things as black and white.
As long as there are men in the world, Snap will be fine. Also follow the money. Plenty of advertising dollars still being spent
lmao glad they rejected me now
You dodged a potentially career ending bullet!
Lol. Rich coming from Meta 😂

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
They'll probably get bought out for $3 a share or so, probably by the msft unfortunately...
Agreed though probably closer to $1/share. The company is virtually worthless at this point.
Agreed, probably closer to $0.33/share. The company is a dead weight
