Is VMware future bleak?

Had a simple task of changing profile from Org to Individual but couldn't so deactivated account, but realized I couldn't sign up with same email, so called customer service. Even though I was 1st in line, no one picked up for hours. Customer Service -- Created new account and emails doesn't come go gmail at all, and found it's common problem from them, and got email's at 4 AM EST. This suggest there email server is buggy. Technical implementation -- Anyways I gave up, and just cracked VMware fusion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ To VM folks, Is VMware future bleak?

What does that have to do with future? Vmware is an enterprise product. Tell me the product is rotting for enterprise customers and you will raise lots of eyebrows.

This is so true. All the money they are getting is from B2B, I guess they just don't care at all for B2C

Frustrated VMware customers are moving in droves to Nutanix. Nutanix's 6 years of consecutive 90+ Net Promoter Scores (NPS) explains it all. I would highly recommend VMware engineers to get Nutanix certification to stay relevant in future.

This is a joke right?

I feel sorry for you. Wake up and do your own analysis. Look at the analyst reports. Look at the publicly available NPS and CSAT scores. Look who won Customer choice award for 2020. Find out yourself if customers, partners, investors and analysts are all joking.

They will probably get acquired by Amazon or Google 😛, but they won’t go down

Moat is the keyword, most of their customers don’t find it cost effective to move their workloads to the cloud and hence they are going go on for a while
