WM is highly traditional company. Leaders in general expect to be on-site. Not sure if there is any remote hiring.
Is it US or IDC?
I'm interviewing with them now for a Director role and they said they expect ppl to be in office 3 days a week once things "normalize". Agreed with another poster that they are more traditional.
Is this for an engineering director position? I heard the engg teams weren’t expected back in office anytime soon. Dunno about other non-tech teams. But again, I could be wrong.
Need to be available to unload the trucks, stock the shelves

They are but I don’t recommend. Just run far away
Boomer culture
This is so true. I joined Walmart after spending 5 years at Amazon. These guys here at Walmart is on another planet. They will never catch up to Amazon. But idc..i collect paycheck at Walmart & shop at Amazon
@fukthisbs, i am at amazon i have an offer from walmart. how much did they pay you. How did you feel the culture is
Nope onsite for sure. That too Arkansas.
It probably depends on your team. Obviously since I don’t work at Walmart I can’t tell you for sure what their culture is like but my stepmoms brother works for Walmart labs remotely in Hawaii and he seems to really enjoy his job. He only goes out to California once or twice a year for work and that’s it.
Working tech in Hawaii seems pretty enjoyable

Leadership mention that every time we have a meeting. They are very excited for all of us to be back in person.
