I’ve been working for almost two years now. I’m currently in a middle office team where we work with fixed income products. I feel like my learning is stagnating in the job and wanted to do some independent learning. I tried finance certifications but I’m finding it to be a waste of time. Learning to code seemed like a smarter way to boost my long term salary. Since I’m working at a bank already, I was thinking that data analysis through coding would be the smartest thing to learn. So Im taking a long pathway in coursera for python data analysis. Is this a smart choice, or could I be doing something better?
