Is accepting counter offer safe at Microsoft?
The other company has already completed H1B transfer, etc. Is it burning 2 bridges at once? Will accepting counter offer affect long term career growth and reputation?

Awful idea. In the MS stackranking world that means that your manager will stack other people higher than you, because you’re not worth the investment if you’re likely to leave soon anyway.
