Is ex-Stitch Fix a thing?

I noticed a friend from undergrad had “ex-Stitch Fix” in her LinkedIn headline, is that a thing? I’ve only seen ex-FAANG, ex-MBB, Goldman and peers, elite law firms, and elite grad schools (Yale Law, Stanford Business, etc) as prior affiliations on LinkedIn headlines. I know Stitch Fix has a respected data science team but wasn’t aware that it had general prestige that warranted the “ex-“ (this person isn’t a DS). If you generally believe people who put ex-whatever on their profiles are obnoxious, please ignore. I don’t care about the general merits of doing this, just why (or why not) it would make sense for Stitch Fix

It gets you more recruiter eyeballs, so it's worth it if you are looking for a new position.

Maybe people should follow the similar "ex-" pattern on Facebook/ Instagram as well and add, " ex- dumped me"

Take a moment to recognize that OP is cyber stalking his ex even a year after the breakup. (it’s ok, done that too. 😆)

If they are new grad then it makes sense. Gotta sell everything they can. After years of experience then it’s weird lol
