My first internship was at Google long time ago, but then I moved to a HFT for full time employment. Is Google WLB still great? Not looking to make the most amount of money at this stage of my career. #google #meta #amazon #cisco
It's not the same, but relative to what You've been seeing in hft, it's gonna feel way better anyways.
Good WLB compared to a typical startup, but you won't be able to coast
This. No one around me is coasting, and it's getting stricter by the day. But it is still better than a lot of places.
How did it go at HFT?
Yes
F off
Where can you even reasonably coast in 2024?
L7 Manager. Can confirm coast = toast. As budgets are super tight, and managers are no longer getting new HC, they want to squeeze the max out of current HC and if anyone is not pulling their weight, you’ll definitely end up in the mandated M or NI bucket.
Yes
they have mandatory PIp now . only apple is for coasting
I thought Apple was workaholic
Do you know what % mandatory pip?
