I am trying to introduce OKR as an IT startup. I watched a lecture about OKR on youtube of Rick Klau at Google Ventures At the lecture he said that the typical process of okr was [corporate objectives -> department objectives -> group objectives -> individual objectives] but he recently reversed his claim and said that individual OKRs are not necessary, and only need to assign initiatives for individuals is google still using Individual OKRs or only up to group OKRs? #google
Why do you want to introduce a system you are not experienced with?
b/c we have no experience, but still need one?
I actually think that could be a good idea, especially at a smaller startup where people are used to things being less stable. Someone not used to them can give a fresh perspective and use the idea in a way that best fits the company. Someone coming from Google would probably just do them exactly the same way, and not rethink for the company or team.
