Is it a good time to join PayPal
Title says it all. Considering a move since the new team sounds interesting and aligned with career goals to work on a larger scale, more user facing experiences. How’s the culture in product org? I am hearing a lot of re- orgs, too much politics and with the CEO leaving by end of year will PayPal be back to its glory again? #pm #product #productmanager TC- 220K
Ill trade you a referral OP. As for PayPal's future its uncertain times until we get new CEO. Product direction is moving all over the place with no clear set priorities. Theres also alot of office politics but I feel as though thats with every big company.
Also do note that if they promise you career growth that is not true. I was promised a promotion within 1 year of joining and ability to build out a full team but even though I had phenomenal performance and bonus (received over 100% of target bonus) I didnt receive it.
