Biden wants to raise capital gains tax to 40%
So I have an offer in which I'm pretty sure is near or at the ceiling of the pay band in which I'm going into my potential new company. Some thoughts against I've heard. -Makes you a layoff target -You won't get a raise. Is it a problem? Or am I overthinking this?
You don’t get pay raise
Lol you're not top of the pay band regardless of what they say, unless you're a VP's niece or nephew.
Is that really a thing. I thought the levels and offers are somewhat standard.
Dangerous. Ask for a downlevel immediately
Ask for intern salary bar so that you have safest job on planet.
Approved is approved, just don't suck
Depends on the company. Some definitely take into account your contribution vs your pay.
lmfao. i might not get a raise so i won’t take this offer that pays me more than what the raise would have been
Fair
