Is it easy to remodel the house yourself?

There are so many tutorials on YouTube, so you just need to buy stuffs from Home Depot. I guess you can save 80% of the cost. Install the toilet and plumbing pipeline, or even build the walls and doors. Tc 200k

You can totally save a ton of money, but there's a reason for that. It's not necessarily hard but very time consuming.

Can a construction worker look at youtube tutorials and do your job as good as you can… doable but you may not have quality finish for the work done.

I find the work I do is better than the vast majority of general contractors, because I actually care about the finished product.

You’ll need tools, a way to get supplies delivered, you’ll go to Home Depot often, and the remodeling will stare at you while in progress waiting to be done. Also, for some things like drywall you’ll need help of friends anyway to install it. It’s not hard, but it’ll be time consuming, and it’ll be x5 time consuming while you’re learning new skills. P.S. Not a rocket science, more like a huge hobby project. P.P.S. Will definitely take less time than hobby car restoration projects.

Please don’t to it by yourself. You will have to survive by witness your own lane work for rest of your life in that house, now imagine that cost saving trade off is worth that or not? Small projects line paint wall, do caulking are okay to do by yourself.

There will be always a diff of standard of coding between fresh off the bat bootcamper and a seasoned coder.

I sucked when I started a couple of years ago. Just start simple and work upwards - change toilet seats and shower heads - paint walls - caulking - fill plaster cracks - put up a shelf - fix a wobbly tap - fix a misaligned door latch - fit a Ring doorbell … etc etc … watch a couple of YouTube videos on each one, buy good tools, and use them as practice. I totally sucked to start with, but every time you do something it builds confidence.

Its not hard like learning graduate level courses. Its so academically easy most kids could understand it. But its physically, mentally, and emotionally difficult for most people

Depends on what you want to do. There is a lot of difference between caulking and plumbing
