I got a new grad offer from LinkedIn. I don't want to start negotiating and get rejected saying that the salary for new grad is fixed. So it possible to negotiate for a new grad role ?
It's likely the best offer you'll get, but it doesn't hurt to ask
😂 they’re not going to retract the offer if you try to negotiate. Just go for it man, you’re gonna have to do it for every offer for the rest of your career. might as well get some practice now
Yeah LinkedIn overpays entry level anyway
Isn't entry level senior at LinkedIn?
After 1 yr exp, you're typically Senior
Not really...
What is your package?
nope
Based on what do you reply no ?
You must negotiate. What is your role and offer btw?
We can't help without data
I successfully negotiated as a new college grad. I didn’t even have other offers on the table. I did have other leverage though. I recommend you get some advice from a career services department at your university. Even just mentioning the fact that you were advised by your college’s career services department may give you some leverage in a negotiation. Just be careful not to burn any bridges if you really do want to accept the offer.
Hey do you mind if I pm you ?
Can I DM you guys for more info? I am in the same situation.

You are worth what you negotiate.
Except as a new grad you’re worth the offer.
