Google is a pretty bad B2C company to be fair though ... GCP lags behind AWS, but it’s bit better on cost. Great engineers, great ML, terrible business / consumer product oriented company. Kind of like Netflix (great tech, and meh everywhere else, except maybe maybe content). Search is more of a utility for the internet than a consumer product which is why it’s stuck around (for now).
How are they bad? Any b2c company at that size will have products lacking behind competitors

Tik tok is the next snap, not the next google. Google will be fine
In what way is TikTok the next snap? I agrue the user habits of snap and TikTok are completely different. Snap is mainly used for quick, fun texting and photo sharing with friends and TikTok is for mindlessly consuming content. The 2nd is much easier to monetize
I often see TicTok ads in YouTube
