Is it worth it to stress about perf if I joined 6 months ago?

Looking for some unbiased perf advice since I joined Google 6 months ago and feel that I'm not getting enough read on this perf thing. Is CME just a given in this first cycle? How much exposure one should have to be added as peer reviewer? How many peer reviewers should I target? How to approach this better if I want to be promoted in one year? More context on why I'm asking this: I did my self assessment and added peer reviewers this week, but when I talked with some folks they seemed not super excited to be my peer reviewers (they mentioned low exposure) and I even got advice to not add more than 3 people. Trying to read if I really didn't have enough exposure to them, if they think I suck (I had feedback sessions with them and no problems appeared at the time, but one never knows), or if they just don't want to do an additional peer review for someone that just joined 6 months ago. Are you still considered a Noogler? I know it’s been a while. How about the quick survey option?

I thought I wasn't anymore because I was already here last perf cycle. At that time I only had 3 or 4 weeks of work so I didn't do anything and just got a CME.

I think quick surveys are only available for tech/engineering ladders... At least I didn't see the option on my perf tool.
