Is leaving Amazon for Microsoft count as moving to a competitor?
I will be asked where I am going in my exit interview. I need to stay at the company for two weeks after my notice. Going competitor means termination on the same day. My work in Amazon has nothing common in work in Microsoft.
You don’t have to tell, just say still deciding. If you said MS then yes a competition

Just don’t tell your manager where you’re going.
Read your non-competition agreement again. If the product/work areas are not in direct conflict (e.g. AWS to Microsoft Cortana), there is no legal hurdle.
