With Activision Blizzard being under fire because of lawsuits and Microsoft recently buying them out, do you think now is a good time to get into Activision Blizzard as an early career SDE? Anyone have any recent experience working there and if there’s been a change since Microsoft bought them? #SDE Please comment why you voted the way you did. YOE: <1 TC: $75k

Long time Blizzard employee. MS acquisition isn't final yet and won't be until next year, so there are no discernable changes yet. However morale has improved significantly from last year, in part I think because the MS news was positively received and Ybarra has been a much more empathetic and communicative leader than JAB. There's still room for improvement, and there's a looming RTO battle, but overall morale is better this year than last.
Yes, I can confirm. JAB was a terrible leader, he would only dab on video calls and people would eat that shit up. Dur Dur A cEo Is DaBbiNg
