Is Intel simply a lost cause?
Just discovered the /r/enoughmuskspam subreddit. They claim Elon is a fraud who... - Takes all the credit for his engineers and original Tesla founders work - Was born into a wealthy family in South Africa who took advantage of apartheid and owned an emerald mine - Illegally busts unions efforts at Tesla factories - Runs Tesla and SpaceX on government subsidies and doesn’t give back - Injects himself into major events (Thai cave) and pulls publicity stunts (Æ X-12) to desperately gain attention for Tesla and SpaceX - Sells Tesla FSD package for $10k but won’t be able to deliver and instead users are dangerously used to beta test - Tweets anti-vaccine news and risks his employees health by not believing in covid I haven’t heard of most of these complaints from talking to people or legitimate news sources. So is reddit.com/r/enoughmuskspam right? #elon #musk #elonmusk
No idea about the South Africa stuff, but assuming all the other stuff is true...so what?
People will always hate on successful people. There are no rules to capitalism. People want these Disney fairy tale CEOs or hard work to correlate to success. That’s NOT how the world works.
You don’t need to spread coronavirus misinformation to be successful
Why it's an Either/ Or? I believe each of the above is true. That doesn't mean he is not steering his company and future if EV in right direction.
Do you think anyone cares if TSLA goes up by 4X and makes the best EVs out there in the market?
Lol damn. Those points are all true
All of those are true
You don't become richest man on the planet without legitimacy. Making real products, solving real problems. Impossible, imo
> Bernard Madoff is the former non-executive chairman of the NASDAQ stock market, the confessed operator of the largest Ponzi scheme in world history, and the largest financial fraud in U.S. history > Prosecutors estimated the fraud to be worth $64.8 billion https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Madoff Hey Elon fanboy, Elon’s Twitter is that way 👉
Madoff case is different, musk has an actual working product that people really enjoy.
- yeah he takes credit for his employees work, that’s what all bosses do? There’s a reason he’s the first major mover in the space and electric car industries though - the whole South African thing doesn’t make sense. His dad owned a share of a mine. Claiming they took advantage of apartheid is akin to calling out white privilege, like yeah ig it’s true but it doesn’t change any narratives - if it was illegal he’d be in jail. He discourages unions same as every other company that can, not saying it’s right though - doesn’t give back? Employees get stock options, Idk what else ppl want - yeah he likes attention. It’s not for his companies though, it’s just a thing for his ego - Idk much about the fsd but I doubt it’s that dangerous. People love to blow things out of proportion. If it was inherently dangerous no one would authorize it out the door, your average employee is not a monster and safety comes first. Dead people do not make for good testimonials. Use your brains people. - yeah he’s a dumbass for the COVID tweets. It’s not to purposefully hurt people, he’s trying to keep buisnessses open and he genuinely thinks he’s in the right (not that he actually is) So yeah, he loves attention, he’s pretty dumb in a lot of ways, he’s a true capitalist, but there’s a reason he’s successful. He’s a very very smart guy, and with anyone like that people will try to take away his success and bring him down. It’s not all unwarranted, but most of it is imo. If you were in his shoes you’d get similar criticisms, and people would pick apart your life to make similar points about you. This isn’t a defense of him nor a criticism, just the way I think things are
Full self driving stuff can be dangerous if you use it wrong, but cars are dangerous when you use them wrong in general. The most damning thing about autopilot and FSD is that it requires good judgement about when to use it and when not, and most people are idiots.
All are mostly true and they're just the tip of the musky trash heap.
Mostly true. I think a lot of employees are posting there with throwaways
all those points you laid out are def. true not sure about the other stuff on that subreddit
