I know this is definitely a first world problem, but for investments, I feel like there’s a lot of manual steps to still monitor, despite the fact that it’s a pretty repetitive and simple task. Vanguard has auto investment options, but that’s as much as I’ve seen as far as automation. Is there a way to automate the manual stuff? E.g. Is there a way to set a bank account to automatically buy a stock if it’s above a certain threshold? Appreciate any other tips people may be doing too

Target date funds, although they can be slightly expensive.
Fidelity has automatic buying, but it’s a bit coarse. Now, you can also place orders with conditions like the one you mention.
