Is there any company better than LinkedIn in terms of pay and wlb ?
Except Google of course, as I am trying to switch. I know Apple pays refreshers but heard they have a bad work culture. Dropbox has good pay but a dying product and lots of layoffs. How is the pay and wlb at Two Sigma ?

IMO infra has more room for growth since you have more opportunities to build products from the ground up. There's more beaucracy in flagship

Pay is slightly better than google. Wlb is variable but should be a little worse than google on avg

Wlb at LI seems to depend on the org. But generally speaking if your team isn’t putting out fires as part of its duties, you’ll be fine. In my experience, LI is definitely a great company with a meaningful albeit slightly cringy product:)

Been on teams with bad wlb, but mostly because manager demands the needful and ex amazon
Layoff?? Dropbox?? Sir/Ma’am dbx had one layoff event , compared to multiple in Google GCP so I won’t really be worried about layoffs. In regards to WLB and Pay and Culture, DBX easily beats LinkedIN plus we have good refreshers too. I agree on Dropbox as a product not being as exciting as some Google products, but I would definitely say same thing for LInedkIn.

If you’re not happy at Google y’ll never be happy anywhere else, you keep chasing your tail for ever, also y’ll be taking a huge risk when moving to another company in this economy, lots of uncertainties
