Except Google of course, as I am trying to switch. I know Apple pays refreshers but heard they have a bad work culture. Dropbox has good pay but a dying product and lots of layoffs. How is the pay and wlb at Two Sigma ?
LinkedIn wlb depends on what org you want to join
Also curious of this
IMO infra has more room for growth since you have more opportunities to build products from the ground up. There's more beaucracy in flagship
Roku. Great pay and work only 10hr/weeks.
and any time pip
no pip here, you just get straight fired.
You know the rules, TC or GTFO.
^
Pay is slightly better than google. Wlb is variable but should be a little worse than google on avg
Are you from LinkedIn to Two Sigma?
Wlb at LI seems to depend on the org. But generally speaking if your team isn’t putting out fires as part of its duties, you’ll be fine. In my experience, LI is definitely a great company with a meaningful albeit slightly cringy product:)

You clearly have Google as the answer
Yeah but want at least some other options. Also pay at Google isn’t too great.
Been on teams with bad wlb, but mostly because manager demands the needful and ex amazon
Layoff?? Dropbox?? Sir/Ma’am dbx had one layoff event , compared to multiple in Google GCP so I won’t really be worried about layoffs. In regards to WLB and Pay and Culture, DBX easily beats LinkedIN plus we have good refreshers too. I agree on Dropbox as a product not being as exciting as some Google products, but I would definitely say same thing for LInedkIn.
LinkedIn has great food but Dropbox do not
Haha lol cool plz join linkedIn 🤣🤣 I’ll continue wfh n ordering anything i want with my $7000 /year benefit

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Stay at Google
why ?
If you’re not happy at Google y’ll never be happy anywhere else, you keep chasing your tail for ever, also y’ll be taking a huge risk when moving to another company in this economy, lots of uncertainties
