https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/03/fec-chair-subtweets-trump-after-plea-for-china-to-investigate-bidens.html Quick question for trumpers: why is your president above the law?
I don’t know why he asks this. Seems to me he’s just blowing smoke. If another country found that a candidate did something illegal in their country I would think people would like to know.
Constitution says he should execute the laws of the country. His job and that of the Attorney General is to investigate potential federal crimes, of which there is a lot of evidence that Joe Biden was using his office for his child’s personal gain.
Nobody knows what crime Biden or his son is being accused of. It's an illegal investigation in search of an accusation using tax payers money
But but....<insert conspiracy theory of democrats doing the same here and milk it>. So it okay if Trump does it because Timmy started it.
Can we fire this chair-person? She doesn't know her own rules. It is for financial contributions only. https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/11/110.20
You are assuming trumptarts can read, which is a big assumption
But as President, your job and oath is to execute the laws of the Constitution. If someone broke the law, are you not supposed to investigate? If it involves foreign countries, is the process not to solicit their help in prosecution?
Well, here's the chain of thought. Trump is an incumbent in an election. People will decide if he made America great. So if it is better for America - it is better for Trump. In other words if America benefits, he benefits. And if he benefits, that's against some law or something.
1) if they really believe it was something that needed to be OFFICIALLY investigated then open up an investigation through the justice department. But more specifically. 2) If you were to take the same story. Change Trump to Obama and Biden to Trump and decide how you feel. Would you still not be upset and consider the act to be not illegal?
You do know that the Dems did this very thing in 2016 and further that investigations aren’t necessarily help right?
A) whataboutism B) Asking for a foreign government to investigate a political opponent is illegal.
Understand that whataboutism is absolutely valid in democracy because the issues that irk you the most doesn’t bother the person doing whataboutism the most
