Are we going to talk about madden being the same game for the past 10 years?
Hey at least they're not making you pay to unlock each team a la carte with DLC. Yet.
Thoughts and prayers.
50+ shootings in Chicago last weekend over a 48hr period. Interesting what the media chooses to cover. Iâll never own a gun but youâre an idiot if you think banning something removes it from society.
You do realize that thereâs a difference between gang violence in extremely poor slums and innocent people getting mowed down at a sporting event. Right? Or are you really that dim?
Is the âconversationâ not about the legality of guns?
Yadda yadda yadda, thoughts and prayers, yadda yadda yadda... Nothing fucking changes
Guns are not the only problem, guns are one of the problem. the entire culture needs to be changed, a person needs to be emotionally spiritually and mentally healthy, does our TC based , work hard party hard, opiod alcohol and marijuana addicted society has time heal, mentally, emotionally and spiritually?
NRA is stronger than you all and the president was on his knees infront of NRA so under 2nd Amendmentâs name this wont be fixed even by 5%. Thoughts and Prayers (prayers for who are alive and thoughts of who got sacrified)
The typical American nerves-of-steel response "thoughts and prayers"
Here is a crazy way to solve some of the gun problems. It's somewhat logical, so it's definitely going to offend everyone. 1) Everyone has a right to have any kind of weapon !on their property!. Defend your home however you want. 2) Anyone seen outside their property with anything stronger than a small handgun can be gunned down by anyone without legal reprecussions.
How is âanyoneâ gunning you down in public if #1 is held true? đ€
I'm not seeing a contradiction. Anyone can have small handgun in public. Anything big or threatening and it's free for all.
Does anyone really think banning anything will solve anything? I donât get it, how does anyone believe this shit. Iâd entertain the idea if it actually meant saving lives. It wonât tho
Other developed countries have lower total murder rate. It's not about rhetorical questions or theories. It's about the hard data. Having lots of guns around might have been safer. But in reality it isn't.
Other developed countries also have very different demographic makeups and cultural situations. Other developed countries also have speech laws that would be draconian by comparison here, and very different police and legal systems. We already tried banning alcohol; ended up creating mafias that now run harder drugs. Let's not make the same mistake again.
What conversation is that?
We need more good guys with guns. If everyone in that stadium would have had a government issued M16 this would never have happened. /s
