Job 1: Stayed at for 3 years Job 2: Laid off after a year Job 3: Pip'd after a year, I leave in May I'm starting at Capital One soon which apparently has a horrible pip culture. The job market is bad though and I'm honestly really desperate to get another job quickly But if I lose this job at C1 too, which seems likely, then that's three positions in a row with very little time in. I'm in a conundrum here. What can I do to resolve this? Would having three positions on my resume like this in a row be bad for my career?
Whats the pip for? What do they need to see from you?
The pip was just a formality, and I'm still not totally sure of the reasons since I got Meets Expectations during my performance review in February, but I think it has to do with domain knowledge and me not really know how to be a senior.
C1 is fine, especially in BUs that make money (auto, card). There is a forced rating distribution and it sucks for sure but the people are nice for the most part. You should be able to survive at least a year and then you’ll be back on track.
Btw, are you in card? That's where I would be joining and I know the specific team/manager if you were able to speak to it. Could I dm you?
Also you know you can just like leave jobs off your resume right? Just take the -1 YOE hit and say you took a break to travel, or had to care for a family member.
Yeah that's a good idea

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Is there some consistency in the feedback you are given?
At job #2 it was literally only shifting business priorities, my day to day had nothing to do with it but I was always meeting expectations Job #3 was kind of a mess tbh. My team was a mess, manager was horrible with giving me accurate feedback, etc.
