Alright JP Morgan Employees I see all the negatives about WLB and low pay. I want to know all the stuff for an upcoming job. Tell all your terrible work stories and negatives. Or be a gem and explain why it’s a great place to work TC - 60k
I worked at Barclays and it was low pay as well, but excellent wlb
WLB is one of the main reasons people stay. If you’re coming to JPMC from federal govt you’ll feel right at home.
Haha that’s nice to now
It has excellent job security and good wlb Only issue is lesser than market pay and minimal employee appreciation
Hm seems like the WLB is pretty polarized opinion. Ig it’s relative from what other companies people have worked at since on other forums WLB is one of the negative things
It def is negative if you're in a front office finance role. Not if you're in tech.
There are tech roles mixed in with the front office roles. You're put on support as your product gets used by the FO peeps which causes you to easily go 45+ hours a week, most weeks
good wlb bad pay

It’s a really big place. You’re experience as a desk quant developer in Manhattan will be entirely different from someone working on back office accounting systems in Delaware or Texas.
WLB I’d say team by team. For myself, I’d say it’s solid 35-40 hours work for BAU week. When there are fire drills coming up, I’ve had 50-55 hours week for couple weeks in a row as well. Pay wise, I agree with other JPMCers.
Wlb is chill Pay is less
