JPMC Recruiter ghosting me after giving verbal offer
Applied, interviewed with several people and finally got a verbal confirmation from the recruiter that I got the job, back in December 2020. But the recruiter never sent me the official offer letter even now (Mid-February). He is dodging my calls and not replying to texts/emails. Is this a regular practice from JPMorgan Chase recruiters? What shall I expect? Last I heard, he told me in January that he's drafting the offer letter. Do you have the hiring managers name? Go to them. Bet the role was pulled or it went to an internal. BTW - there was a firm wide email sent out about texting and using official channels of communication only. I’m not sure what that was about, but I’m guessing people were trading stock tips and/or work stuff outside of traditional channels and not logged by JPM
That was your mistake. If you don't have an offer in writing, you don't have an offer.

OP got their hopes up on a verbal offer. The fact that they are chasing JP now, means they took the bait. It puts them in a weaker position when it comes to negotiations
