I just got offered an Operations Manager position at one of the big micromobility companies eg Lime/Bird/Veo. Given how micromobility is so talked about these days it might open up doors for me in the future for better jobs & opportunities. Pros 1) Micromobility is hot these days 2) 15% Higher salary offered 3) Flexible timings to come to the office ( Manager told me can come any time in the morning as far as work gets done thats all that matters) 4) Less workload, will work around 40 hours a week as compared to 50/55 at Amazon. Currently I am an Area Manager at Amazon. Do you think it would be a wise idea to leave Amazon under a year for the job above given it has alot of positives? In a bit of dilemma because I have 2-3 more interviews lined up and the company has given me a week at most to answer back. TC : 95K

If the offer is for Lime, it’s probably not a bad move. I doubt anyone in operations at a micromobility startup works 40hrs a week though: your vehicles and teams are working 7 days a week, at the very least you’ll always be on call.
Ops manager is a good sized bump over area manager, it might be better to stick around until you get L6
